Flag raising ceremony at Branch 158, Sutton.
July 1st, 2017

Sutton, Branch 158 and the Massey Vanier Air Cadet Squadron conducted the flag raising ceremony on newly erected flagpoles on the Legion site.

Branch 158 recently installed 3 brand new flagpoles which allowed us, for the first time, to have an actual flag raising ceremony as part of our Canada day celebrations.

The flag raising party consisted of , from left to right comrade Harold Bailey president of Branch 158, comrade Clifford Sevigny Sergeant at Arms, comrade Mike Jennings Membership Chairman, comrade John Hawley 1st Vice President ,corporal Jocelyn Vachon Legion historian and member of the Royal 22nd Regiment, comrade Robert Gaudreau Branch service officer, comrade Terry O'Regan past president , WO Justin Bridger Warrant Officer with the Massey Vanier Air Cadet Squadron and comrade Chuck Richards poppy chairman.

We raised the Legion flag first, the Quebec flag second and the Canadian flag last with the playing and singing of the national anthem.
