Mohawk Branch 219, Kahnawake "Remembers"

On Saturday, November 10, 2018, Kahnawake, Mohawk Branch 219, took time to remember the Veterans that paid the ultimate sacrifice.

A day long activity was planned for the occasion starting by the Second Annual "BREAKFAST for VETERANS", followed by ceremonies at the Catholic and Protestant cemeteries.

In the afternoon the parade formed up at the Royal Canadian Legion Mohawk Branch 219 parking lot; then proceeded to march to the Cenotaph for the Remembrance ceremony.

Following the ceremony, the Veterans and their guests gathered at Branch 219 to pay tribute to the Veterans of their community that paid the ultimate sacrifice, followed by a Black Watch Pipes and Drums performance.

Mohawk Branch 219 is grateful for the presence of Quebec Provincial Command President, comrade Ken Ouellette and Past President, comrade Norm Shelton, and also, a special thank you to all the Royal Canadian Legion Branches that attended.
