ABOUT US

The Royal Canadian Legion Quebec Provincial Command

The Quebec Provincial Command of The Royal Canadian Legion is a key player in the advocacy and support of veterans, members of the Canadian Armed Forces, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and their families across the province. Since its founding, the Legion has been committed to providing vital services, promoting remembrance of military sacrifice, and raising public awareness of the contributions veterans make to our society.

Our mission

Our mission is to preserve the memory of veterans, defend their rights, and support their well-being. This includes an ongoing commitment to providing services and resources to our members and their families, while promoting a culture of recognition and respect throughout Quebec.

Our activities

  • Support for veterans: We offer assistance services, including advice on benefits, social and moral support, as well as financial aid in certain situations.
  • Commemoration: We organize events throughout the year, including Remembrance Day ceremonies, to pay tribute to those who have served our country. Our annual poppy campaign, a symbol of respect and gratitude, is one of our most important initiatives.
  • Community involvement: Working with local affiliates across the province, we support community initiatives, fundraising and awareness programs to bring civil society closer to veterans and their families.

Our values

Direction provinciale du Québec is founded on the fundamental values of respect, heritage and solidarity. We firmly believe in the importance of honouring those who have served, and ensuring that their sacrifices are never forgotten.

Join us

We invite veterans, their families and others who wish to support our mission to join The Royal Canadian Legion. Together, we can strengthen the recognition of military sacrifice and work for the well-being of those who have served.
