Ceremony in memory of soldier Albert Pellerin – Subsidiary 044

On Saturday, August 24, 2024, the “Ceremony in memory of Private Albert Pellerin”, who fought during the Normandy landings and whose 80th anniversary was being celebrated, was held at Shawinigan’s St-Michel Cemetery.

For the occasion, the Honorable Jean Chrétien laid a wreath on the tombstone of Private Albert Pellerin, in the presence of Legionnaire veterans from Branch 044, as well as the Commander of District 15, Comrade Pierre Savard and guests.

Note that this ceremony was under the responsibility of the Société d’histoire militaire Mauricienne.
