Meeting to mark the start of our fall activities – Branch 150

Meeting to mark the start of our autumn activities Meeting to mark the start of our autumn activities

On September 24, 2024, we held a corn roast to mark the start of our fall activities. Over twenty people took part, and while having fun and fraternizing, we discussed the Branch’s direction for the fall, which is our busiest and most crucial period. I’d like to thank comrades André Boulet, Jean Robin and the others who organized this meeting, which was a resounding success. I also took the opportunity to present a service medal to Comrade André for his outstanding commitment to the Branch over the past 10 years. I’d like to take this opportunity to remind you that we’ll be holding 2 very important meetings this autumn: one towards the end of September/beginning of October for the Poppy Coordination and Remembrance Ceremony, and another for the elections of a new Board of Directors towards the end of November/beginning of December (all positions will be up for election). You’ll be notified 2 weeks in advance. Seeing the turnout we’ve had is heart-warming and shows that our Branch is alive and well and looking to the future with optimism. Yours sincerely Gilles Desjardins,
President,
Royal Canadian Legion,
Branch 150, Bernatchez Côte du Sud.
