En décembre 2023, notre groupe de tricot a fait dons de châles, de couvertures et couvre-lits aux aînés de notre communauté.
Last December, our knitting group made and donated beautiful shawls, lap blankets and knitted bedspreads, delivered directly to seniors in our community.

During the Anniversary Dinner in Celebration of the 175th anniversary of the Incorporation of the City of Aylmer, the Aylmer Legion Branch 033 was recognized for its significant contributions to the community for over 91 years.

Le mercredi 25 août, la garde des drapeaux de la filiale 033 a accompagné monsieur André Fortin, Député de Pontiac, Assemblée Nationale du Québec, pour accueillir la mairesse France Bélisle et le comité exécutif de la Ville de Gatineau qui portaient des costumes d’époque pour l’occasion de la reconstitution du premier conseil d’Aylmer dans le cadre du 175e anniversaire de l’incorporation d’Aylmer qui a eu lieu en 1847 à l’hôtel British à Aylmer, Québec.
On Wednesday, August 25, the Aylmer Legion Branch 033 Colour Guard accompanied Mr. André Fortin, Member from Pontiac, National Assembly of Quebec in welcoming Mayor France Bélisle and the Executive Committee of the City of Gatineau, (who wore period costumes for the occasion), to the re-enactment of the first Municipal Council of Aylmer meeting on the occasion of the 175th Anniversary of the incorporation of Aylmer, at the British Hotel in Aylmer, Quebec.

Le 5 mai 2022, 7 cadets du Corps de Cadets de la Marine royale canadienne LA HULLOISE ont participé activement lors de la cérémonie organisée par la Légion d’Aylmer filiale 033 pour souligner le 77e anniversaire de la Bataille de l’Atlantique et la Libération des Pays-Bas.
On May 5, 2022, 7 cadets from the Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps LA HULLOISE actively participated in a special ceremony organized by the Legion of Aylmer Branch 033 to mark the 77th Anniversary of the Battle of the Atlantic and the Liberation of the Netherlands.

7 cadets sous la direction de leur commandant Ltv /Lt(N) Jessie-Lyne Dubeau et accompagnés du sergent d'armes de la filiale #33 Christophe Chéné, ont porté les drapeaux, lu la promesse du souvenir, procédé à l'allumage des bougies commémoratives et assistées avec le dépôt de la couronne.
The cadets under the direction of their Commandant Lt(N) Jessie-lyne Dubeau and accompanied by Branch 033 Sergeant-at-Arms Christophe Chéné, carried the flags, read the promise of remembrance, proceeded with the lighting of the commemorative candles and assisted with the laying of the wreath.

Quatre bougies ont également été allumées en souvenir des cadets du Collège militaire royal récemment décédés à Kingston, en Ontario.
Four candles were also lit in remembrance of the Royal Military College cadets recently deceased in Kingston, Ontario.
Après la cérémonie les cadets ont fait une présentation orale, accompagnée d'un montage visuel ; ils ont ensuite eu l'occasion de rencontrer et de parler avec des anciens combattants et des invités.
After the ceremony the cadets made an oral presentation, accompanied by a visual montage; followed by the opportunity to meet and speak with veterans and guests.
