The Second 2024 Sunday Cribbage was held recently at North Hatley Legion.
For this last winter fun tournament, 46 players came in spite of a snowyforecast.
Peggers arrived from as far as Richmond and Stanstead for 7 games of sociability.
North Hatley was assisted for the day — as always — by the Richmond Legion, and by Richmond's Hotel Grand Central Pub.
First Place with an amazing Perfect Score of 847 were Brigitte Mangin and Yves Vallée of St Denis de Brompton.
Second Place partner sat 838 were Jack Kimpton and Marie Bonner.
At 837, Mike Williams and David Howe clinched Third Place.
Very close high scores!
The good luck continued with prize drawing winners Brigitte Mangin and Kevin Linn.
Donna Ham also won for cutting the Ace of Spades in Game 1.
We had two players with great 24-Hands: Wendy Ridley and Kim Bronson.
A light lunch was prepared again by Gail Smith and served by Jared Haller of the Legion after play ended.
There is no North Hatley Cribbage in March.
However, your attention is called to two 6-Game Spring Fundraising Tournaments to be held at The Hut on two consecutive Thursdays: March 21 and March 28.
Registration is open to all and begins at 6 p.m.
